Ever heard the phrase "All things are difficult before they are easy"? That was our impression when we first got the brief for alloy, a sports betting platform. A tough nut to crack, but possible!
Challenge we face
With our client's unique idea, the requirements placed on our whiteboard were contesting our great minds. However, a complex mobile application made accessible to laypeople required such attention and experience that the client trusted the project with us to design the application and develop the whole brand identity.
our strategy
Our brand department suggested combining two activities, sports and betting, and coming up with the name Alloy, a substance formed from combining two or more elements. The name had to go with a solid icon to create a combination mark after several sketches by illustrating Letter 'A' in many variations and styles with a primary color, purple. Even the selection of color made sense, as per the psychology of colors; purple means strength, transformation, and power representing sport and betting. Isn't it just amazing?
Our user journey team drafted a detailed information architect before the low-fidelity mockup to ensure easy navigation and functionality.
